On-shore festivities during Airlie Beach Race Week

Welcome to Airlie Beach Race Week!

Welcome to the 37^th edition of our Regatta. This year we are excited at the prospects presented by our partnerships with our key Sponsors, 74 Islands Distillery as our Naming Rights sponsor, and Hillery Group as our Platinum Sponsor. Two local companies coming on board to make our regatta a success.

We also have some new and exciting Lay Day options for you, with Elementa, Home to 74 Islands Distillery hosting a lay day long lunch, as well as the Lay Day clean up, brought to you by the team from Ocean Crusaders, with the support of Ocean Rafting, to get you to the clean up spot.

Our regatta management team is largely unchanged from last year, with Jenni Birdsall as our Regatta Director, Kevin Wilson as our Principal Race Officer, and the usual suspects backing them up, with a great team of Loyal and Essential Volunteers, being coordinated by our Commodore Heather Sutton, and Chief Bosun Karen Evans.

We have been invited to host the 2026 IRC State Titles at next year, and we look forward to hosting all manner of championships as we approach the major event in 2032, as co host for the Olympic Sailing Venue.
